Our client is a growing independent healthcare market research consultancy specialising in medical device market research and regulatory/clinical support. They conduct both qualitative and quantitative research for several leading global medical device manufacturers, across a range of product and therapy areas.
What you’ll be doing
Our client is seeking a Data & Quality Control Executive, focusing on quantitative projects, to strengthen their capabilities in providing Real World Data and post-market follow-up data on the safety and performance of their clients' medical device products.
You'll be responsible for structuring, managing and quality-controlling the data behind their quantitative studies, building and maintaining the Excel workbooks that hold raw data, summary data and tabulations, and independently checking that formal PowerPoint, Word and Excel deliverables accurately and consistently reflect the underlying data. This is a specialist, delivery-focused role that works alongside Research Executives rather than owning projects end to end, underpinning the data integrity and audit-readiness of reporting for several leading global medical device manufacturers.
- Build and maintain structured Excel workbooks of raw data, summary data and tabulations
- Produce clean, well-organised cross-tabulations and summary tables to agreed specifications
- Quality-check (QC) data files, tabulations and statistics against formal PPT, Word and Excel reports, verifying that every figure, percentage and base size reconciles to source data
- Provide an independent QC check between the data and final deliverables — logging, escalating and resolving discrepancies before sign-off
- Support the analysis of quantitative data (Excel and SPSS files)
- Maintain version control, consistent naming conventions and a documented audit trail from raw data through to every reported figure
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data management and QC processes, templates and checklists
- Gain knowledge in Medical Device regulations and Real World Data collection
