Business Development Manager – B2B Healthcare Partnerships

Location: East London / Essex – Hybrid with UK travel

The Company

An exciting opportunity to join a growing, innovative healthcare business specialising in pharmacy services, digital healthcare and prescription fulfilment.   Operating within the regulated UK healthcare market, the business provides pharmacy dispensing and delivery services to patients nationwide, working with private healthcare providers, clinics and digital health businesses.

The Role

This is a hands-on business development opportunity, focused on identifying, winning and growing partnerships with private healthcare providers requiring outsourced pharmacy dispensing and fulfilment services.

You will be responsible for the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through to contract negotiation, onboarding and ongoing account growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across private healthcare, pharmacy, telehealth and digital health markets.

  • Build relationships with weight management clinics, ADHD providers, private hospitals, men's and women's health clinics and other specialist healthcare businesses.

  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective partners through proactive outreach, networking, referrals and industry events.

  • Lead commercial discussions with clinic owners, Medical Directors and senior healthcare decision-makers.

  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate agreements and secure new partnership contracts.

  • Manage the onboarding of new partners, working closely with internal pharmacy, operations and compliance teams.

  • Develop and grow existing accounts, identifying opportunities to expand services and increase revenue.

  • Monitor market developments, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within private and digital healthcare.

  • Track commercial performance against business development targets, including new partnerships, revenue growth and partner retention.

You

We are looking for a proactive, commercially focused Business Development professional with experience developing partnerships and securing new business, ideally within healthcare, pharmacy or a related regulated sector.

You will bring:

  • At least 3 years' experience in B2B business development or account management, with a demonstrable track record of winning new business.

  • Experience within pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution, healthcare services, telehealth, digital health or private healthcare would be particularly advantageous.

  • An understanding of how private clinics, healthcare providers and medical services operate.

  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to partners and industry events.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a developing B2B healthcare market, build strategic partnerships and make a tangible contribution to the growth of an ambitious healthcare business.
