Account Director - Healthcare PR, Corporate Comms and Patient Advocacy

This is a newly released vacancy looking for an experienced Account Director to join a growing healthcare communications PR agency in London. You'll lead high-profile international accounts, delivering impactful campaigns across healthcare PR, patient advocacy and corporate communications.

Everything you need to know about the role

As Account Director, you will:

• Build strong client relationships and provide strategic advice
• Develop and review scientific content across a range of audiences and channels
• Oversee varied projects spanning patient advocacy, corporate communications, scientific content and events
• Manage account budgets, resources and project delivery
• Lead and mentor account teams while remaining involved in the work
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

• Solid healthcare PR agency experience at senior level
• Experience in patient advocacy and international healthcare campaigns
• Confident managing pharmaceutical clients and senior stakeholders
• Excellent writing, communication and strategic planning skills
• Strong commercial awareness and account management experience
• Collaborative, proactive and comfortable leading teams
• Able to understand scientific content and translate complex information into engaging communications
