We're partnered with a fast-growing, specialist healthcare market research consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering insights that go beyond expectations. Since its founding, the team has built a collaborative, international culture while maintaining a flexible, agile way of working.
This is a company that excels for its clients, offering a highly consultative approach across both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. With continued growth, excellent client retention, and an impressive portfolio of projects, this is an exciting opportunity to join a team where your impact will be highly visible.
The role:
As Project Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of research delivery, owning projects end-to-end across mostly the UK but with some exposure to the US markets. You'll work predominantly on qualitative projects (around 70%) with a mixed-methods element, sitting within a small, experienced team and reporting directly into a Senior Project Manager.
This is a new role, created off the back of continued growth, meaning real ownership from day one.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading QL and QT projects from internal kick-off through recruitment, fieldwork, and final deliverables
- Selecting and briefing suppliers; building strong vendor relationships to improve delivery quality and value
- Planning and monitoring timelines, maintaining recruitment and fieldwork trackers, and keeping milestones on track
- Analysing supplier cost proposals and supporting competitive rate negotiation
- Validating invoices and supporting P&L review meetings to ensure financial accuracy
- Ensuring compliance across all workstreams, including AE reporting and data protection requirements
- Identifying risks early, escalating where needed, and implementing fit-for-purpose mitigations
- Running project close-outs and capturing lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
- Producing accurate, client-ready documents and presentations with minimal revision
- Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture
What we're looking for:
- 2–4 years of project management experience within a pharma or healthcare market research, analytics, or insights consultancy
- Proven end-to-end delivery of QL and QT projects, from recruitment through to deliverables
- Solid understanding of qualitative methodologies; mixed-methods or quant exposure a bonus as the business continues to grow in this area
- Experience with supplier selection, briefing, and performance management
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in a market research context, including AE reporting and data protection
- Highly organised with strong Excel and tracker skills
- Clear, confident communicator: both written and verbal, with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Calm under pressure, structured in your approach, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset, someone who takes ownership, asks the right questions, and sees things through
- Based within commuting distance of London (hybrid, 2 days in office)
- Full right to work in the UK now and in the future without restrictions
What's on offer:
- £35,000–£40,000 + discretionary bonus
- Clear development pathway within a growing business
- A genuinely collaborative, supportive team culture
- Exposure to a broad range of therapeutic areas and international markets
- Join a business with great reputation amongst clients and employees
