Key Account Manager, Haematology / Oncology
True KAM role driving sales in haematology / oncology across the South West
Job id: 17226
Key Account Manager – Haematology / Oncology, South West, 12-month FTC (with potential to go permanent or be extended but no guarantees)
Summary
My client is a fast-growing, high-performing pharmaceutical company with a collaborative culture and a strong team ethos. With less than 50 people in the UK, it’s a place where everyone knows each other, supports each other, and works together to achieve outstanding results.
The company has grown rapidly — from one sales team and one drug five years ago to three divisions, four drugs and five indications today. This is an exciting opportunity to join at a time of real momentum and contribute to the continued success of a highly respected oncology business.
Everything You Need to Know About the Role
- Covering a high-potential territory, including key accounts in Oxford, Southampton, Bristol, Cardiff and Plymouth.
- Responsible for driving uptake and engagement for a NICE approved haematology, oncology product.
- Join a close-knit, high-performing team of four.
- Act as a true Key Account Manager — managing the business end-to-end with autonomy and accountability.
- This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. There is potential for extension or a permanent position, but this is not guaranteed which is why it will be offered as a FTC.
- Ideally starting in January.
Experience and Qualities That Make You a Strong Fit
- Oncology or haematology experience is ideal, but not essential — they’re looking for drive, attitude, and a growth mindset.
- Proven ability to manage key accounts strategically and work autonomously.
- Collaborative, solutions-focused, and thrives in a close-knit, high-performing team.
- Confident building strong clinical relationships.
- A stable career history with a passion to grow and make an impact in a fast-evolving organisation.
- Must be ABPI qualified and working in another specialist therapy area, if not oncology / haematology.
Unless otherwise stated, if applying for a job within the UK or European Union, you must ensure that you are already authorised to work there.
