Global Business Development Director – Market Access & Pricing - Germany (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced business development leader with a strong background in Market Access and Pricing within the consulting side of the pharmaceutical industry?

We are supporting an established pan-European Market Access Consultancy in their search for a Global Business Development Director to drive strategic growth across European affiliate, Pan-European and Global pharmaceutical accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to build senior client partnerships, shape commercial strategy, and support the launch of innovative market access, HTA & pricing consultancy solutions across Europe.

Everything you need to know about the role

You will lead business development activities across key European and Global accounts, driving revenue growth while positioning the organisation as a trusted partner in Market Access and Pricing.

• Develop and execute business development strategies for German, European and Global clients
• Build and strengthen relationships with senior commercial stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities through high-quality proposals and client presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape commercial solutions, pricing strategies and client programmes
• Drive achievement of agreed sales and revenue targets while maintaining a strong opportunity pipeline
• Represent the organisation at industry conferences and networking events across Europe and Globally
• Provide market insight on HTA, pricing and reimbursement trends to support business growth and innovation

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

• Proven experience in business development, Market Access or Pricing within the pharmaceutical industry, within a consulting environment
• Strong knowledge of European and German pharmaceutical markets, including HTA and reimbursement processes
• Demonstrated success in winning new business and developing long-term strategic client relationships
• Fluent in both German and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Commercially minded with strong negotiation, account planning and stakeholder management capabilities
• Self-motivated, collaborative and comfortable working within an international, fast-paced environment
