Are you an experienced Business Intelligence or Commercial Analyst looking for an opportunity to work client / industry side?

Do you have strong Power BI and Veeva experience, with the ability to turn complex sales, customer and marketing data into clear, commercially useful insights?

Would you like to join a growing global healthcare business in a newly created role where you can really make the position your own?

Our client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their UK commercial team. This is a broad and varied position that will see you working across the business, partnering with stakeholders in Sales, Key Accounts, Digital Marketing, Medical Education and Operations.

Rather than simply producing reports, you’ll be responsible for helping the business understand what its data is telling them: identifying trends, highlighting opportunities and providing the insight needed to support commercial decisions.

What will you be doing?

  • Analysing sales and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI reporting to give teams clear visibility of commercial performance.
  • Working with Veeva CRM data to support customer analysis, targeting and segmentation.
  • Providing analytical support to the National Sales and Key Account teams, helping them understand account and territory performance.
  • Supporting the development and measurement of sales KPIs, targets and incentive/bonus schemes.
  • Analysing the effectiveness of digital marketing activity and helping teams better understand customer engagement.
  • Using data to develop more targeted customer segmentation and identify opportunities for future campaigns.
  • Bringing together internal sales information and external market data to help build a clearer picture of market performance.
  • Working with stakeholders across the UK business to understand their analytical needs and turn data into practical recommendations.
  • Helping the business identify new ways of using its existing data as the role and BI capability continue to develop.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with a good level of commercial understanding. You’ll need to be comfortable working with different stakeholders and communicating what the data actually means, rather than simply presenting numbers.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong hands-on Power BI experience.
  • Previous experience working with Veeva.
  • Experience analysing sales, customer, CRM, commercial or marketing data.
  • The ability to interpret data and communicate clear insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel and general data analysis skills.
  • Experience working within pharma, healthcare, medical devices, aesthetics, consumer health or FMCG would be particularly useful.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to work independently within a newly created role.

What’s in it for you?

This is a newly created position within a growing UK business, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of the role and play an important part in how data and insights are used across the commercial team.

You’ll have exposure to multiple areas of the organisation rather than being restricted to one function, with longer-term opportunities to develop your career across Business Intelligence, Digital, Marketing and other areas of the wider international business.

The company also offers:

  • 10% annual bonus
  • Hybrid working – typically 2 days per week in the office
  • Potential to consider a 4-day working week
  • 25 days’ annual leave
  • Healthcare
  • Excellent pension scheme with employer matching up to 12%
  • Additional employee benefits

If you’re looking to make the move client / industry side, or you’re already working in-house and want a broader BI role where you can have a genuine influence on commercial decision-making, this could be a great next step.

Unless otherwise stated, if applying for a job within the UK or European Union, you must ensure that you are already authorised to work there.
