We’re partnering with an ambitious and growing pharmaceutical business looking for a Private Account Manager to drive commercial success across the UK & Ireland private / self-pay market.
This is a senior, field-based role where you’ll be given real autonomy to grow accounts, launch products, and make a tangible impact across private hospitals, clinics, and online pharmacy platforms.
What you’ll be doing
This isn’t a “maintain the status quo” role, it’s about growth, ownership, and making things happen.
- Own and grow a high-potential territory within the private healthcare space
- Build and execute smart, commercially focused account plans
- Spot and unlock new opportunities across private clinics, hospital groups, and digital healthcare providers
- Navigate the nuances of the self-pay market — understanding how to position, sell, and win in this space
- Play a key role in bringing products to market, ensuring strong uptake and commercial success
- Lead on pricing, negotiations, and contracting with confidence
- Use data, CRM, and insights to drive smarter decisions and better outcomes
- Deliver engaging virtual and face-to-face presentations that land with impact
- Build strong, credible relationships with both clinical and commercial stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record in healthcare sales (pharma, devices, or diagnostics)
- Strong experience within the private sector — ideally across hospitals, clinics, or online pharmacies
- Clear understanding of how to sell in the private/self-pay market and what drives success
- Experience supporting or launching products in a competitive environment
- ABPI qualified
- A go-getter mindset — proactive, driven, and always looking for the next opportunity
- Confident communicator who can present with impact, especially in virtual settings
- Commercially sharp, data-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
