Private Account Manager (London), Private / Self-Pay Healthcare Market
Are you a successful healthcare sales professional with experience promoting medicines, diagnostics, or medical devices within the private sector?
We are partnering with a growing pharmaceutical organisation seeking a Private Account Manager to drive commercial success across the UK and Ireland private healthcare market.
This is a senior, field-based role focused on expanding market presence, increasing product uptake, and building strategic partnerships across private psychiatry, clinics, hospital groups, and online healthcare platforms.

- You will take ownership of a defined territory while contributing to national account strategy within the private and self-pay sector.
- Drive commercial growth across the private healthcare market
- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans aligned to revenue targets
- Identify and unlock new opportunities across private clinics, GP networks, hospital groups, and online platforms
- Lead pricing discussions and manage end-to-end contracting processes
- Use CRM systems, data insights, and omnichannel tools to optimise engagement and account activation
- Build strong relationships with clinical and commercial stakeholders
- Deliver accurate forecasting, KPI reporting, and territory planning
- Represent the organisation at key industry meetings and customer engagements
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
- Proven experience promoting healthcare products, ideally prescription medicines
- Diagnostics or medical device sales experience will also be considered
- Strong understanding of the UK and Ireland private or self-pay healthcare landscape
- ABPI qualification is essential
- Demonstrated success in account management, negotiation, and revenue growth
- Confident using CRM platforms, analytics, and data to inform strategy
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience in Psychiatry, CNS, or sleep disorders would be advantageous
