Everything you need to know about the role:
This is a genuine new business role, focused on selling a service-based solution into medical device companies or CROs.
You won’t be selling devices. You won’t be selling CRO delivery. You’ll be selling a specialist learning programme designed to add real commercial and clinical value to organisations operating in the healthcare space.
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in shaping growth strategy, identifying new routes to market, and building long-term commercial partnerships. The opportunity is significant, there’s strong traction already, but plenty of untapped potential across therapy areas, geographies, and client types.
If you enjoy opening doors, building relationships at senior level, and selling something genuinely differentiated, this will appeal.
You will:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within medical device companies or CROs
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Sell consultatively, understanding business challenges and positioning tailored solutions
- Develop new routes to market and partnership opportunities
- Contribute to and execute the wider commercial strategy
- Clearly articulate value propositions for a complex, innovative offering
- Support the refinement of sales and marketing materials
- Track and report on commercial performance and pipeline activity
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit:
- Proven experience selling services into medical device companies and/or CROs (ideally)
- Pharma sales will also be considered
- A strong understanding of how these organisations operate commercially
- Background in consultative, solution-led sales within healthcare or life sciences
- Demonstrated success in generating and converting new business
- Confidence engaging senior leadership teams
- Strong communication skills and commercial credibility
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a remote environment
Preferred:
- An existing network within medical devices or CROs
- Experience contributing to commercial strategy or go-to-market planning
