We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to join a multi-award-winning, independent healthcare advertising agency that’s making a real impact across the health and wellbeing space.

You’ll work with major global and international clients to deliver strategic, multi-channel campaigns that improve lives and strengthen connections between patients, healthcare professionals and brands.

Everything you need to know about the role

As Account Director, you’ll lead key client accounts, guiding strategic direction and ensuring exceptional creative and commercial delivery across campaigns.
You’ll inspire your team, shape integrated brand strategies, and build lasting client partnerships that drive growth and impact.

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of key healthcare and pharma accounts across global markets
  • Lead on strategic brand planning and multi-channel campaign delivery (digital, print, CRM, experiential and more)
  • Act as senior point of contact for clients, providing trusted counsel and strategic input
  • Manage and mentor a talented account handling team, supporting their development and growth
  • Lead on pitches and proposals, identifying new opportunities and driving business growth
  • Collaborate closely with creative, digital and production teams to deliver work that exceeds expectations
  • Ensure efficient processes, quality standards and commercial profitability across all projects

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

  • 5–6 years’ experience in a healthcare communications or creative agency environment
  • Proven success leading complex, multi-market accounts and campaigns
  • Strong understanding of Veeva platforms, CRM tools and the wider healthcare landscape
  • Excellent leadership, communication and client relationship skills
  • Strategic, commercially astute and naturally collaborative
  • Experience managing and mentoring account teams
  • Degree in marketing, business, science or a related field preferred
