Are you an organised and ambitious life sciences graduate or existing Account Executive looking to build or progress your career in medical communications?
This is your opportunity to join a specialist medical communications agency delivering high-quality virtual and face-to-face events, promotional materials and digital engagement for pharmaceutical clients.
You’ll work at the heart of the client services team, supporting the delivery of compliant, impactful projects across a range of therapy areas. With structured support from experienced Account Managers and Directors, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to client management, event delivery and digital project coordination - developing your confidence and expertise in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Everything you need to know about the role
As an Account Executive / Senior Account Executive, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring projects run smoothly from planning through to delivery and post-event follow-up.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams including design, digital, media and production, while supporting client communications and managing the operational detail that keeps projects on track.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Account Managers and Directors with day-to-day client communication and project coordination
- Developing and updating timelines, trackers and status reports
- Assisting in the development and delivery of promotional materials for virtual and face-to-face events
- Managing event delegate communications, bookings and tracking
- Uploading and tracking materials via approval systems such as Veeva
- Assisting with budget tracking, supplier quotes and invoice checks
- Ensuring all materials meet internal processes and relevant compliance standards, including ABPI guidelines

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
You’ll be a life sciences graduate and ideally have some experience in an agency, events or healthcare communications environment.
You’ll bring:
- Around 1 years’ experience working within a team-based office environment
- Healthcare, pharma or medical communications experience (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively
- A proactive, positive and team-focused approach
- An interest in learning about compliance frameworks such as the ABPI Code
You’ll be calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities and willing to take ownership of tasks - even the detail-heavy ones that ensure quality and compliance are maintained.

- Salary: Up to £34,000 (depending on experience) plus annual company bonus
