We are seeking a Head of Consulting to lead and grow a high-impact consulting practice. My client are a boutique scale up with big plans! This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded, creative leader to shape the future of consulting in pharma, biotech, and medtech. You’ll build on strong foundations, expand our client base, and deliver cutting-edge solutions to some of the most complex challenges in healthcare.

Everything you need to know about the role

As the Head of consulting, you'll define and execute clear strategies for the consulting practice. You will:

  • Expand existing offerings and create new ones.
  • Develop and nurture long-term, high-value client relationships.

  • Take ownership of strategic accounts and drive new commercial opportunities.

  • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard, while setting new benchmarks for innovation and impact.

  • Partner with senior leadership on business development, thought leadership, and growth strategy.

  • Lead, mentor, and expand a diverse global team of consultants in a high-performance, collaborative culture.

  • Represent the business externally as a visible and influential voice in the industry.

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

  • In depth experience in life sciences with a strong grasp of industry challenges and opportunities.

  • A number of years focusing on strategy consulting across multiple parts of the pharma value chain.

  • Demonstrated ability to grow a consulting practice and lead high-performing teams.

  • Strong commercial track record with a track record of revenue growth.

  • Exposure to innovation methodologies (e.g. design thinking, speculative design, or futures thinking).

  • Experience in both commercial consulting and patient engagement preferred.

  • Charismatic communicator with presence and impact, comfortable as the “face” of the business.

  • Pragmatic, empathetic, and collaborative, with curiosity and compassion at your core.
