We’re pleased to share our Quality Assurance Biotech Salary Benchmarking Report, featuring 2026/27 industry data on compensation trends & salary benchmarks from Senior Consultant, Hayley Shayestehroo.

The Quality Assurance market has entered a more established and measured phase. The sharp salary growth seen during 2021 and 2022 has eased, hiring decisions are becoming more considered, and benefits are increasingly reflecting established market standards.

As compensation packages become more closely aligned, employers have less scope to differentiate through salary and benefits alone. The focus is therefore shifting towards the wider employee proposition, from career development and flexibility to culture, progression and long-term opportunity.

For organisations looking to attract and retain high-quality QA talent, a competitive salary remains important, but it is increasingly only one part of the equation.
