A creative, high-science medical communications agency is looking to hire a Senior Medical Writer to join a commercial account in the fields of cardiology, neurology and dermatology. Ideal for a creative who excels at simple scientific storytelling.

You will join a well-regarded team of scientific and creative medical communicators who translate complex science into materials delivered via multiple channels that really resonate with their audiences and ultimately change lives.

Everything you need to know about the role 

This Senior Medical Writer will focus on commercial deliverables for an account focused on cardiology, neurology and dermatology. The writer will:

  • Develop materials including sales meetings, video scripts, leave pieces, website copy, training and memos
  • Take the lead on client communications and build trusted relationships
  • Work with HCPs and subject matter experts to develop and/or approve materials
  • Have an expert knowledge of client review and approval systems such as Veeva and DataVision.
  • Keep the senior team updated on account activity, flagging any potential issues early
  • Develop your reviewing skills and provide constructive feedback to junior team members

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

  • This high-science team require an advanced degree – PhD, MD or PharmD
  • Around 3 years of medical writing experience in a Med Comms agency, working on commercial deliverables
  • A creative person who excels at simple storytelling
  • Cardiology, neurology and/or dermatology experience would be an advantage
  • Comfortable developing trusted relationships with clients and HCPs
  • Able to review the deliverables of team members for scientific accuracy and integrity
  • Proactive and curious to learn new things
