An opportunity for an Associate Editor to join a Medical Communications agency with a focus on clinically-focused educational programmes. These programmes combine scientific, medical and brand expertise to educate HCPs and drive behaviour change leading to better patient outcomes. This Associate Editor will be responsible for managing the editorial process, ensuring the quality and accuracy of medical content

- Provide traditional and digital medical education programmes.
- Partner with market access, patient programmes and public relation specialists and lead project management.
- Provide a host of services from opinion leader and advocacy management, advisory boards, satellite meetings through to webinars and podcasts and much more.
- Work with the top 4/5 pharma companies Globally.
They are looking for an Associate Editor who can
- Editi, proofread and prepare content ready for approval
- Work on educational and promotional copy across a range of therapeutic areas and asset types (e.g. digital, print)
- Collaborate with the Medical Writers to ensure accuracy, clarity and reliability of materials
- Maintain compliance with industry standards
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
- Life Sciences degree and c12 months healthcare communications experience
- Experience using Veeva and working knowledge of the ABPI code
- Good proofreading and copy-editing skills (grammar/punctuation)
- Proficient in PowerPoint (formatting/graphs/animations)
- Referencing and analytical skills
- Adept at communicating with clients and HCPs
What’s on offer?
- A competitive salary of £31-34K, commensurate with experience.
- Flexible working with 2 days in their Beaconsfield (dog friendly!) office and 3 WFH
- 24 days holiday pro rata (can buy or sell up to 4 days a year)
