Senior Research Manager / Associate Director

Everything you need to know about the role

• A scientific, consultative position requiring both business development and project delivery (seller-doer model)
• Exposure to pre-clinical market challenges, requiring a blend of scientific acumen and market research skills
• Lead bespoke qualitative and quantitative research projects, including project management, study design, moderation, analysis, and client delivery
• Contribute to business development through proposals, account planning, and marketing activities
• Identify opportunities to evolve offerings and shape new services for clients
• Provide leadership within the team, including line management, mentoring, and supporting professional development of colleagues
• Play an active role in building the systems and culture of a fast-growing consultancy environment

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

• A degree in life sciences (B.Sc. minimum; MSc or PhD preferred)
• At least 5 years’ experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical market research/consulting
• Strong analytical skills and a curious, data-driven mindset
• Ability to interpret findings into strategic recommendations for clients
• Experience engaging with clients in a consultative, solution-oriented way
• Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with the willingness to take initiative in a dynamic environment

• A competitive salary of £55,000 – £70,000, depending on experience
