Medical Writer - IME/CME Grant Writing & Needs Assessments

This is a Medical Writer role to lead the development of content for IME and CME grants, needs assessments and RFPs. It is a fully remote opportunity open to people based in the UK and Europe and is to join a global provider of independent medical education.

Everything you need to know about the role 

This Medical Writer will join a lovely, supportive team who collaborates with sales, strategy, and medical teams to identify educational needs.

• Build relationships with internal and external experts to identify existing practice gaps in medicine and underlying unmet needs
• Develop strategic needs assessments to align practice gaps and unmet needs with educational solutions
• Conduct research to support grant proposals/needs assessments
• Write multiple focused needs assessments/grants weekly creating supporting literature reviews and suggesting themes, learning objectives and agendas
• Analyse activity outcomes data to establish educational uptake and remaining gaps
• Contribute to other CME accreditation documents

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

To be successful as an IME Medical Writer, it is ideal to have worked in a medical education setting including writing grant proposals and needs assessments, with:

• Knowledge of rules and regulations overseeing medical education
• Experience writing for a variety of professional audiences (physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other HCPs)
• An ability to become familiar with new diseases and conditions quickly
• Research, compile and analyse clinical and scientific evidence quickly
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment, able to maintain attention to detail and quality
