Carrot Recruitment is proud to be partnering exclusively with an innovative, global medical device company. Our client is seeking a Therapy Development Manager to join their UK team with a focus on cardiology.

This is a blended role combing patient facing aspects with business development, technical support, education, and stakeholder engagement 

The territory for this position is Scotland and The North of England and requires the successful candidate to live on territory, ideally have an existing network within this region and cardiology space.

Everything you need to know about the role 

Following comprehensive training your responsibilities will include:

  • Increasing awareness and prescriptions of the product by engaging cardiology teams in hospitals, identifying new customer opportunities and expanding existing accounts by building strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders
  • Developing and delivering territory sales and growth plans
  • Delivering product training and education to clinicians and hospital staff
  • Supporting patients through device fitting and technical guidance
  • Monitoring patient data and supporting discussions with physicians
  • Attending relevant cardiology meetings and conferences

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience of working in medical device or pharmaceutical industry in a similar role
  • Proven success working in a business development position in the medical device or pharma industry, ideal TA would be cardiology/cardiovascular
  • Commercially minded
  • Exposure to the Electrophysiology area inclusive of ICD or WCD, ideal
  • Confident communicating clinical data to healthcare professionals
  • Self-motivated, organised, creative and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Willing to travel frequently to engage with KOLs and HCPs
