Engagement Manager (Market Research)

Lead High-Impact Strategy in Global Life Sciences

We’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Engagement Manager to lead global consulting projects across pharma and biotech. You’ll be trusted with key client relationships and empowered to drive innovation and influence business-critical decisions.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee a portfolio of market research projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and profitability
• Act as a strategic advisor to top-tier pharmaceutical and biotech clients
• Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations at senior stakeholder level
• Build and grow long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and account expansion
• Line-manage a team of 6+ consultants, providing coaching, guidance, and performance support
• Take ownership of key accounts and support business development with new and existing clients
• Lead cross-functional, global project teams on high-complexity initiatives
• Contribute to shaping the company’s broader strategy as a member of the senior team

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

You will thrive in this role if you bring:

• 7+ years’ experience in a top-tier consulting firm or strategic advisory role
• Demonstrated expertise in life sciences market research, leading full service primary market research projects
• Advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PhD) in a life science subject from a leading university
• A strong track record in mentoring and developing high-performing teams
• Excellent communication skills – able to confidently advise clients, run workshops, and influence stakeholders
• A curious and strategic mindset, with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement
