An opportunity to build the commercial data and analytics backbone for a high growth biopharmaceutical organisation dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with rare and complex diseases.

The Role
This position will lead the design and delivery of a modern, data-driven commercial operations function for the US affiliate, spanning data architecture, analytics, CRM, forecasting, and reporting. You’ll combine strategic oversight with deep technical capability, ensuring the business captures, interprets, and leverages data effectively across all functions.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, and Finance teams, you’ll develop the systems, insights, and tools that power smarter commercial decisions and more effective field execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the commercial data ecosystem, including data warehouse, MDM, ETL, quality, and governance

  • Lead the development of commercial insights and analytics: forecasting, KPI suites, dashboards, and scenario modelling

  • Drive proactive data mining and insight generation to support Sales, Market Access, and Marketing teams

  • Oversee CRM strategy and optimisation (Veeva / Salesforce), ensuring adoption, integration, and data integrity

  • Partner with Marketing on omnichannel data analytics to close the loop on HCP engagement

  • Design and manage incentive compensation, territory alignment, and field performance reporting

  • Develop compelling data visualisations and deliver executive-level reporting and insights

  • Manage key vendor relationships and ensure compliance with data privacy and governance standards

  • Oversee transition of key operational and data processes from HQ to the US affiliate

Experience & Profile
You’ll bring 10+ 
plus years of experience across commercial operations, analytics, and CRM systems within the pharma or biotech sector, ideally (but not essentially) with cardiology, critical care, or GPO contracting exposure.

 

Technically strong, you’ll be confident manipulating large, complex data sets, building dashboards, and extracting insights that drive decision-making. You’ll combine data fluency with commercial acumen, knowing not just how to analyse data, but what to look for and how to communicate it clearly to colleagues across the business.

Hands-on experience with Veeva or Salesforce CRM, data warehouse and BI tools, and a track record of supporting successful product launches are essential. Experience in a new affiliate or greenfield build environment will be highly regarded.
