Are you a creatively driven Copywriter who loves turning complex science into clear, compelling ideas?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, independent healthcare advertising agency known for producing emotive, insight-led creative work. You’ll work at the intersection of creativity and healthcare - crafting engaging copy that brings scientific stories to life and genuinely resonates with healthcare professionals, patients and wider audiences.

This is not your traditional medical writing. It’s creative copywriting - using words to shape behaviour, build trust and humanise science.

Everything you need to know about the role

As Creative Copywriter, you’ll play a key role in developing ideas, campaigns and content across a wide range of healthcare and wellbeing projects. Working closely with art directors, designers, medical writers and client services teams - you’ll help transform complex medical information into powerful, accessible narratives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing, editing and refining copy across digital and print channels, including websites, campaigns, social content, emails, presentations and brochures
  • Translating complex medical and scientific information into clear, engaging and audience-appropriate copy
  • Contributing to creative concept development and campaign ideation sessions
  • Developing messaging frameworks and supporting brand storytelling
  • Ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand tone and creative strategy
  • Supporting client meetings when required, presenting ideas and creative rationale

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

  • Proven experience as a copywriter - ideally within a healthcare, pharma, medical communications or regulated agency environment
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, conceptual thinking and clarity of writing
  • Confidence translating scientific or medical information into compelling stories
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and channels
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A collaborative, curious mindset with a genuine passion for creativity and health

What’s on offer?

  • Competitive salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
  • Flexible hybrid working from bright, modern Oxfordshire offices (two days in office per week)
  • Private healthcare and pension scheme
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • 28+ days annual leave including birthday day off
  • Regular social events and creative brainstorming sessions
  • Supportive, people-first environment that values growth and wellbeing
  • The opportunity to work on meaningful healthcare campaigns that improve lives
