Everything you need to know about the role
This is a varied, client-facing role where you'll work across strategic healthcare communications programmes, partnering with experienced consultants while becoming a trusted day-to-day contact for clients.
You'll:
- Take ownership of project delivery across multiple healthcare communications programmes
- Build strong relationships with pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, becoming a trusted extension of their team
- Coordinate and shape content development alongside strategy, creative and digital specialists
- Keep projects running smoothly by managing timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications
- Anticipate challenges before they arise and proactively identify solutions
- Support strategic planning discussions and gain exposure to senior client conversations
- Work across a range of digital communications, content and engagement initiatives
- Develop the confidence and capability to become the day-to-day lead on accounts over time
- Contribute ideas, challenge thinking and play an active role in shaping how the agency evolves
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
- At least 2 years' experience within a healthcare communications, medical communications, healthcare advertising or pharmaceutical agency environment
- Existing Account Manager experience or a highly experienced Senior Account Executive ready for progression
- Strong client management and project coordination skills
- Experience working with healthcare or pharmaceutical brands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and drive projects forward
- Someone who enjoys understanding the bigger picture, not just delivering individual tasks
- Commercial awareness and an interest in developing strategic consultancy skills
- A collaborative approach and genuine curiosity about healthcare communications and digital engagement
